Obituary for Nancy Mouery Skinner

Nancy Mouery Skinner, age 85 of Marietta, died Saturday, September 15, 2018. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Skinner was born in Meadville, PA. and was retired from Blount Construction as Administrator. She was also a Real Estate Agent for Harry Norman Realty and worked for Delta Airlines in Reservations Control. Mrs. Skinner was a well- known teacher and founder of Basket Weaving Guilds in Georgia. She was an avid golfer and a volunteer and committee head at Atlanta Country Club for The Atlanta Golf Classic. She was also an accomplished pianist and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Skinner was very involved in her children’s social and athletic events when they were growing up and was known as the “Neighborhood Mom”. She was an alumni of The Ohio State University Buckeyes, and was a big Buckeye football fan and Georgia Bulldog fan. She was a proud grandmother to her three grandchildren Courtney, Emily, and Jacob Engstrom.
Mrs. Skinner is preceded in death by her husband Theodore Otho Skinner, Sr. She is survived by her son Theodore Otho Skinner, Jr., daughter Pamela Cheryl Skinner, daughter and son-in-law Sharon Skinner Engstrom and Steve Engstrom, and a brother Howard Donald Mouery, Jr.
