Obituary for James Eugene Smith

James Eugene Smith, age 87 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday, March 8, 2019, in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with the Rev.Tom Gray officiating. Mr. Smith was a United States Army Veteran he was employed with Scientific-Atlanta as a Master Technician for many years before retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife Hildred and son, Michael. Surviving are Daughter, Cynthia Wade of Smyrna, Grandchildren, Lacy Wade,\Hailey Wade Spitulski (Stephen), Nicholas Smith, Charlie Spitulski. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm before the service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the
Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
