Obituary for Elaine A. Koster

Elaine A. Koster, age 66, of Acworth, passed away Friday, March 9th and had battled Cancer for - (5 yrs.). She graduated from O’Keefe HS - Atlanta in 1969. She is preceded in death by her son BRAD who passed away in 2001. She was married to Randy Koster of Atlanta for (47 yrs.). She is survived by her husband Randy and three sisters Brenda Taylor / Debra Stansell / Pat Reece.

Elaine will forever be remembered for her kindness / willingness to lend comfort and sincere interests in others. She worked the majority of her life as an “Executive Assistant”. Elaine had retired in August from MEAG Power – (27 yrs.) as Communication Mgr. / she worked prior while living in Jacksonville, FL for ( Watson Reality - Mr. Watson ) as his assistant. Prior to that, she was w/P&G Corp. office while they lived in Cincinnati, OH. When they returned to Atlanta in the early 80’s she worked w/Kimberly-Clark @ (Roswell, GA) complex for V.P.-( Neenah Paper). The only time she did not work in her life is when BRAD was born for about a year and when the Kosters ( Elaine / Brad / Randy ) moved to England-(London) and then to Tokyo. Those (5 yrs.) while living aboard they traveled Europe / Far East extensionally.

The family will receive friends from 11-1:00 Thursday, March 15th, @ Carmichael Funeral Home – in Smyrna, GA Graveside service will be for immediate family thereafter.

In lieu of Flowers, the family w/Elaine’s wishes – would suggest to make a Donation to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center - / 866-815- 9501 in both BRAD and ELAINE’s memory.
