Mr. Billy Gray Phillips, age 79 of Smyrna, died Thursday, February 16, 2017. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Ewing Road. Mr. Phillips was born in Anniston, AL and was a resident of Smyrna for over 52 years. He served as an Elder for the South Smyrna Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a truck driver for Atlanta Metals.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife Janice Phillips of Smyrna; son James Phillips (Vicki) of Powder Springs; daughter Lorene LeFevre (Marc) of Canton; brothers Ernest Phillips (Betty) of Stone Mountain, Nathan Phillips (Elaine) of Braselton, and Johnny Phillips (Pat) of Sylacauga, AL; sisters Hazel Ogle and Joyce Hudgins of Anniston, AL; sister-in-law June Phillips of Atlanta; grandchildren Ashley Phillips, Jessie Phillips (Lyndsey), Matthew LeFevre (Starcia), and Mark LeFevre, Jr.; great grandchildren Daniel and Holly LeFevre; nieces and nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law.
