Obituary for Barbara Ann Stover

Barbara Ann Stover, age 71 of Dallas, died Thursday, April 5, 2018. Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Pastor Ron Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mrs. Stover was born in Atlanta and worked for Cobb County School System, retiring after 27 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for loving Tom Selleck, Mark Harmon, and Elvis.
Mrs. Stover was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Johnny Stover. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Newton of Marietta; son and daughter-in-law John and Candy Stover of Temple, GA, daughter and son-in-law Brandy and Michael Jensen of Flowery Branch; son Matthew Stover of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Cathy Herndon; sister and brother-in-law Frances and Lee Martin; six grandchildren-Cory, Eleze, Madison, Sydney, Jack and Anna; and one great grandchild Snow.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 11 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
