Anthony “Tony” Lee Frazier, 67, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Sara and Troy Frazier, formerly of Marietta, GA. He worked for North American Container Co. in Marietta, GA, and in Tennessee. Most recently he worked for MWR at NAS Atlanta.
Tony was an avid sports fan and a former girls' softball coach. He loved traveling, geocaching, and being outdoors.
He is predeceased by his brother William “Billy” Frazier of Tampa, FL, and his sister, Donna Sue Moates of Marietta, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Clayton of Smyrna, GA, two sons, Mickey Rathbone, of Marietta, GA, and Derek Frazier of TN, his step-son, Adrian Stephens, of Smyrna, two sisters, Diane (Harold) Camp of Dallas, Ga, and Debbie (Rob) Wentz of Bremen, GA, and his two brothers, Robert Frazier of Marietta, GA, and Michael (Suzi) Frazier of Powder Springs, GA. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, his brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Debbie Clayton, of Smyrna, GA, several nieces and nephews, and many friends in the Metro Atlanta area and in Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. A funeral service will be held graveside at 12 pm Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
